Accommodation
The Academy of Chinese Language Studies provides a range of accommodation options to suit numerous requirements. Located in close vicinity to our campuses, student housing is also in close proximity of numerous restaurants, shopping centers, and public transport facilities.
The residence is located very near the school (approx 5 minutes walking). The student residence offers double share or single occupancy. Applicants are advised to enroll early as this is a popular choice.
Studio (single): Comprises of one bedroom with attached living room, kitchenette and private bathroom. It is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, TV (cable), phone, 24 hour hot water, heating and air-conditioning.
Room (double / single): Comprises of one room and private bathroom. Each room has two single beds, TV, phone, private bathroom, desk, chair, mini-fridge, 24 hours hot water, heating and air-conditioning.
Live in a spacious and fully furnished apartment with modern furniture and facilities. Each apartment has one to three bedrooms, a living and dining room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The common living room has a lounge, TV (cable), DVD, and telephone. Internet access can also be arranged. Each bedroom has a bed, desk, chair, and storage area for clothes and personal belongings. The apartments are located nearby and a regular shuttle bus brings students to and from these accommodations.
Live in a Chinese home and learn about Chinese life and culture while improving your language skills. Daily contact with your hosts will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture. Home stay hosts are interviewed and personally selected based on a number of factors, including the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (that they are varied and balanced), and their ability to welcome international guests. Meals (Breakfast and Dinner) are provided. Host families are located in the nearby suburbs. Single rooms are provided.
Participants live in a hotel located nearby the school complex. The hotel has modern western style facilities. Each room is fully equipped with modern furniture, bed, fridge, private bathroom, satellite TV, and telephone (IDD and ISD). Other facilities include laundry, daily housekeeping, modern gym, pool, and restaurants.

Double share occupancy or single occupancy is available. Accommodation reservations are made as soon as applications are received. Placements are made on a first come basis and confirmed when enrollment is completed, and fees are fully paid.
